OUR MISSION

The Chicagoland Hoarding Taskforce (CHTF) aims to provide support, training, and consultation to agencies, departments, clinics, and individuals who are committed to helping those impacted by hoarding.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to help implement true multidisciplinary approaches that make a real impact in improving the health and safety of our community members.

OUR TEAM

The executive committee is comprised of five members. OCD Midwest is our sponsoring non-profit organization and an International OCD Federation Affiliate.

Virtual Learning Expo: September 13th

Every other year, we sponsor a FREE conference on hoarding and OCD (2019, 2021, 2023, 2025) which is our fundraiser for the Task Force.

The next OCD & Hoarding Expo is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025.

The Chicagoland Hoarding Task Force proudly presents its 2025 Virtual Learning Expo! This biannual community education and outreach event connects professionals, families, and individuals with the latest research and strategies. Zoom link and final speaker schedule to be emailed to all registered participants. Limit to 250 participants.

  • Trouble getting rid of things regardless of value.
  • Feeling upset when needing to get rid of items.
  • Acquiring many items even if there is no space or they are not needed.
