TASK FORCE

We are recruiting for membership to our working task force. Please fill out the membership form below. One of our volunteers will reach out to you. Our mission is to support any person, family, friend, or agency in the greater Chicagoland area affected by hoarding through education, networking, and connection to resources while promoting public health and safety.


Membership Responsibilities

  • Use your talents and contacts to further the mission of CHTF.
  • Network with other CHTF members to increase knowledge and capacity for yourself and CHTF.
  • Regularly attend meetings.

Membership Benefits

  • Education: Hear presentations from guest speakers or task force members.
  • Networking: Get to know what people & resources are available.
  • Case Studies: Hear about, or ask for help, with a particular hoarding situation.

Membership Privileges

  • Vote at meetings as needed.
  • Vote in election of executive board members
  • Use the Chicagoland Hoarding Task Force (CHTF) logo on your business website.
  • Access to share resources on Dropbox.

Membership Period

  • The membership year runs from January 1 – December 31. You may join at any time during the year. Annual renewal for everyone is January 1.

CHTF Confidentiality Policy

  • All identifying information when discussing hoarding cases/individuals will be kept confidential unless written consent is obtained.

CHTF Conflict of Interest Policy

  • Since CHTF members are interacting with the public which presents opportunities to suggest resources to help with hoarding, each member should excuse their own business in favor of other similar businesses, or, identify yourself/your business and point out to the person that they have options to hire from a list of similar businesses.
